POS Terminals
- MOB provides POS (point of Sales) terminals to merchants for Card acceptance in Myanmar by using electronic device that lets you accept credit/debit card payments across all Card Schemes, i.e. Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay, JCB and MPU cards.
- Business types such as Hotels & Restaurants, Gems & Jewellery Shops, Retail shops, Travel & Entertainment etc., can apply for POS services.
Application of POS Terminal
- The merchant must open a bank account. (Savings/ Current/ Company Account)
- Sign an agreement between MOB and the Merchant.
- Submit required supporting documents to MOB Card and e-Payment Department.
- 2 photographs of the outlet. (Outlet’s Signboard, Interior with products)
